Project Scope
Eagle services businesses, school systems, and non-profit agencies of all sizes. Our customers range from a small business with one computer which runs their accounting software and their business-specific application to a school system with more than 450 computers and multiple file and application servers.

Remote communication configurations, file server and PC installations, and network design, as well as security implementation via hardware or software firewalls, Spam filtering, and anti-virus installations are all part of our daily project scope.
A sample of our projects includes:
- Configuring and installing multiple computers and a file server to run a portion of an assembly line in an automobile assembly plant in eastern United States.
- Supporting the infrastructure, including hardware and software of a 50 user law firm in West Michigan.
- Designing and supporting the network of a 100 user school system in West Michigan using Microsoft Server 2003. Microsoft ISA Server was used for the Internet access proxy and can track users, bandwidth, and file downloading statistics.
- Adding a wireless network to an existing school system network. Multiple access points were configured to broadcast to all required locations in a school building. Security was implemented through use of WEP keys, MAC address filtering and other methods.
- A community Aquatic Center installed multiple new computers and a file server to track member use of services as well as to run their business accounting software.
- Installing Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 to facilitate secure remote communication with a company’s main office. Secure access is provided to the company’s mail server and Intranet portal which provides internal company information such as benefits and policies to employees and other authorized end users.
- Configuring Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 to provide extremely easy and yet very secure remote access to desktop computers. This facilitated multiple employees being able to access their work computer from their home computers and eliminated a drive back to the office in the evening. This also enabled work-from-home scenarios for various employees.
- Setting up remote communication between a customer’s Grand Rapids office and an office on the eastern side of Michigan. Through a high speed internet connection they only need one file server and can access the data from both offices. This saved them the cost of purchasing a second file server.
